Graham and McCain Appear on NBC’s Meet the Press — Both Cling to False Russia “Hacked” Election

With all the frenzy occurring about “fake news,” one would think that two united States Senators would not further a false rhetoric.  However, Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) both held tight to the false Obama administration claim that Russia “hacked” the 2016 election to produce a Trump win when appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”  But, what else did anyone expect out of these two RINOs who have bent over backwards to accommodate the current administration.

Graham went so far as to call those who were “celebrating Russia’s hacking into the 2016 presidential election were ‘making a huge mistake’ and described them as a ‘political hack’.”

To my Republican friends who are gleeful, you’re making a huge mistake. When Wikileaks released information during the Bush years about the Iraq War that was embarrassing to the administration, that put our troops at risk most Democrats condemned it, some celebrated it. Most Republicans are condemning what Russia did and to those who are gleeful it you’re a political hack. You’re not a Republican and you’re not a patriot.

When one party is compromised all of us are compromised. And here’s what I’m going to do with Senator McCain, we will introduce sanctions that are bipartisan that go beyond the sanctions today against Russia that will hit them in the financial sector and the energy sector where they’re the weakest. And we’re going to give President Trump an opportunity to make Russia pay a price for interfering in our elections so it will deter others in the future. I hope you will take advantage of it.

Graham, in his confusion, has mistaken individuals celebrating a Trump win with the non-existent Russian hacking farce.  The intelligence community has offered no evidence whatsoever to the administration or the public to definitively verify Russia hacking.  And, the release of Podesta, Clinton and DNC emails by WikiLeaks has nothing to do with Russia.  Julian Assange has repeatedly declared his source was not the Russian government.  Some have theorized the leak of the emails was perpetrated from inside with some speculating it was Seth Rich, who is now dead.  And, no one from the DNC, nor John Podesta or Hillary Clinton have denied the emails as false, fabricated or unauthentic.

No troops have been put at risk through the WikiLeaks release of those emails.  The only problem is the embarrassment being suffered by Clinton, Podesta, and the DNC, along with those caught up in the scandal due to corresponding with these individuals and the DNC.  This is the main problem — the email leaks caused embarrassment.  The entire population of the world was privy to the sleazy operation of the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton.  Moreover, Project Veritas had released plenty of damaging undercover videos where the DNC and Hillary was caught with their hand in the election fraud cookie jar.

While the administration nor the intelligence community have not offered any evidence of Russia hacking the election, Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp along with 2 other States reported attempted “hacking” of their system by an IP address linked to the Department of Homeland Security.  Why is Graham not concerned about that?  And, condemning a foreign government of hacking, especially Russia, is dangerous, particularly when legislation will be forthcoming to sanction a nation because of a falsehood perpetrated by Obama, his administration and an intelligence community that has repeatedly lied to the public.

If all of this was not enough, Graham called individuals, which included the voter base, “political hacks” and accused the same of “not being a patriot” for celebrating a Trump win which he is trying to turn into a celebration of a falsified report of Russian hacking.

Not to be outdone, McCain definitively stated Russia was “heavily engaged” but never offered one iota of proof.

I think you can only draw the conclusion that if they were celebrating that they obviously wanted the outcome to be what it was. And then the question is is what did they do to try to achieve that outcome? And it’s pretty obvious that they were heavily engaged — and we need to come to grips with it and get to the bottom of it and overall, come up with a strategy in this new form of warfare that can basically dismantle — harm our economy, harm our elections and harm our national security.

Really?  The only conclusion that can be drawn with Russia celebrating a Trump win is they had something to do with the election results?  Maybe, Russia thought that Hillary Clinton would draw the US and Russia into war that neither side wants.  Or, Russia thought that Hillary Clinton would perpetuate ISIS funding and training against Assad, meaning Russia would be fighting more in Syria, engaged in a proxy war with the united States and depleting their resources until they had no choice but to wage direct war with the US.  It could be that Vladimir Putin just doesn’t like Hillary Clinton and can’t get along with her long enough to discuss anything.  So what if Russia was obvious about wanting to see Trump win and Hillary lose?  It doesn’t mean Putin and Russia interfered.

The same case could be made against any foreign government or leader who celebrated a Trump win and a Hillary loss if all one had to go on was McCain’s statement indicating guilt because of it.

But, McCain is so certain of Russian hacking in his statement, “…it’s pretty obvious that they were heavily engaged ….”  However, he nor anyone in the intelligence community or the Obama administration have produced evidence to back up their claim.  Moreover, neither McCain nor Graham provided the information that IF Russia engaged in any hacking activity whatsoever, the NSA (remember that agency who spies and collects on everyone?) would have the evidence/proof.

According to the article containing an extensive review of the information done by ZeroHedge, linked above and a worthwhile read:

Former NSA leader turned whistleblower William Binney recently stated that if the Russians really did hack the Democratic Party servers, the NSA would certainly have real evidence (not the nonsense put out in the DHS-FBI CSV file). Here is his quote from a December 29 2016 article by Glenn Greenwald: “The bottom line is that the NSA would know where and how any “hacked” emails from the DNC, HRC or any other servers were routed through the network. This process can sometimes require a closer look into the routing to sort out intermediate clients, but in the end sender and recipient can be traced across the network.”

Edward Snowden has not only confirmed that the NSA has this ability – but that he himself used an NSA program called XKEYSCORE to monitor such attacks.

The article at ZeroHedge also stated, “… it is known that the NSA has the ability to use satellite mirrors to hide the locations of their servers – making folks believe that the attacks are coming from China (or Ukraine or Mongolia) when in fact they are coming from servers located in the US.”

Remember, the emails from Podesta, Clinton and the DNC were leaked, not hacked, by a disgruntled Democratic Party insider.

Despite all the evidence to the contrary, both Graham and McCain are sticking to the false story laid out by the administration and intelligence community.  McCain went so far as to call this “a new form of warfare” where a strategy should be developed against it while Graham spoke to hitting them (Russia) in the financial and power sectors “where they are weakest.”

Warfare?  Hit them in the financial and power sectors where they are weakest?  It sound as though both Graham and McCain are looking to engage in some type of “war” based on a report lacking evidence and false narrative from the current administration.  With the knowledge gained from the extensive research by Tyler Durden and contained in his article at ZeroHedge, along with the evidence of DHS hacking the Georgia Secretary of State’s system, it is irresponsible for the charlatan political hacks Graham and McCain to issue the statements they made on “Meet the Press.”  Moreover, they should know it is dangerous to keep poking a bear.  While Putin has so far showed restraint amidst this circus, any further provocation in action against Russia based on false accusations could have devastating consequences if any significant action is taken by the administration and the lame duck Congress within the next 11 days.

Anyone in government, anyone who is well-known, politicians or anyone for that matter should not put in an email anything that one would not want the world to read.  This entire mess came about because of Hillary Clinton’s private email server that was hacked exposing the exchange of classified information over the unsecured server and SAP programs residing on it;  the leaking of John Podesta’s emails through a phishing scam to which he responded and a weak password;   and, the leaking of DNC emails by a disgruntled Democratic Party insider. But, no one in government, Republican or Democrat, can take the embarrassment for their own failures resulting in a Clinton election loss, the people’s rejection of a Republican establishment candidate, and a Trump election win — it has to be the Russians!
