Obama and his Administration Treat the Public as Stupid While Media Backs his Lies

It didn’t take long for a media outlet to push the White House narrative that Obama did not lie about knowing Hillary Clinton had a private email server.  Yesterday, The Washington Times ran a story with the headline, “Obama ‘factual’ about ignorance of Clinton’s server;  White House.”  Spokesliar Josh Earnest appeared on the scene to say Hussein Soetoro had no knowledge of where Clinton’s server was located or what the arrangements were regarding the storing of her email, but did have her email address.  Hussein Soetoro had previously stated he found out about Clinton’s private server through the news media like everyone else.

Before showing Hussein Soetoro sent Josh Earnest out to lie, The Washington Times reported:

“The president did trade emails with Secretary Clinton, not a large number of them,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest. “Of course the president had possession of Secretary Clinton’s email address, but he did not have any knowledge of where her server was located or what sort of arrangements had been made to store her email.”

Leaked emails from John Podesta, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign chairman, show that even her closest aides didn’t believe Mr. Obama’s statement in an interview in early 2015 when he said he had been unaware of her private email server.

“We need to clean this up — he has emails from her — they do not say state.gov,” said Cheryl Mills, a senior Clinton adviser, in a hacked email posted Tuesday on WikiLeaks.

Republican nominee Donald Trump said the president, too, should be investigated over Mrs. Clinton’s email server.

“This guy, he’s as bad as she is,” Mr. Trump said of the president in Florida on Tuesday

Mr. Earnest said the president’s version of events was “entirely factual.”

“What the president said was an entirely factual response,” he said. “I recognize that some of the president’s critics have attempted to construct some type of conspiracy about the communication between the president and the secretary of state, but they’ve failed to put forward a conspiracy that withstands any scrutiny, so I guess they’re back to recycling thoroughly debunked conspiracies.”

The true signature indicating Josh Earnest is lying and Hussein Soetoro is lying comes in the last statement.

“What the president said was an entirely factual response,” he said. “I recognize that some of the president’s critics have attempted to construct some type of conspiracy about the communication between the president and the secretary of state, but they’ve failed to put forward a conspiracy that withstands any scrutiny, so I guess they’re back to recycling thoroughly debunked conspiracies.” [emphasis mine]

The fact Earnest has to throw “conspiracy theory” in the mix and failing to mention Hussein Soetoro’s use of a pseudonym to communicate with Hillary Clinton indicates the White House is lying.

Another statement trying to cover the fact Hussein Soetoro did know Hillary was using a private email server was the changing of the meaning of what he said to the media — “I found out about the email server through the media when everyone else did.” [paraphrased]  Right off the bat, Earnest declared, “Of course the president had possession of Secretary Clinton’s email address, but he did not have any knowledge of where her server was located or what sort of arrangements had been made to store her email.”  There is a play on words here, which would not be needed if Hussein Soetoro had told the truth initially.

Earnest said Hussein has her email address but had no knowledge of where the server was located or any arrangements on email storage.  However, Hussein claimed he found out about the email server when everyone else did.  Earnest is trying to redirect the statement from “no knowledge until reported in the media” to “he knew before the media found out but had no knowledge of location.”  The man used a pseudonym when communicating with Hillary.  Why?   Because he knew it was a private server, unsecured, so he wanted to avoid being identified if Freedom of Information Act requests surface.

If Josh Earnest thinks Obama made a factual initial response, this man needs a brain enema.

How many individuals who email, especially when conducting business, do not pay attention to the address?  It’s not many.  But, Hussein Soetoro evidently doesn’t pay attention to anything based on his admission about not knowing things until he hears it in the media.  This is pathetic, just like the man.

Despite the “spin” the professional spokesliar wants to weave, citizens are wise to the tactics.  Hussein Soetoro lied.  Josh Earnest lied. Hillary Clinton lied.  The only entities in government that haven’t lied in Washington, DC, are the monuments and statues.
