One can’t help but shake one’s head when listening to news media “talking heads” and “silicone Barbies” talk about the renewed effort by Republicans in Congress to repeal the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare. In watching part of the show “Outnumbered” on Fox News, these “Barbies” talked about the cost, how many individuals could not afford the “affordable” health care insurance, the problems with the website, and conflict between parties on this issue with the threat of veto by Hussein Soetoro should the repeal pass. They talked about issues related to this monstrosity, but like a poor marksman they kept missing the target or the entire point — Obamacare, aka the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional.
It matters not this massive piece of legislation passed without one Republican vote and was supported by a portion of the American public in order to “provide insurance to those who did not have or could not afford insurance” under the previous system. It matters not a man sitting in the Oval Office wanted a “legacy” for the future so his name would be remembered and immortalized. The one unalterable fact no one but those in the alternative media expose and discuss is the evidentiary truth that the Constitution does not grant Congress authority over health care, to mandate individuals purchase health care insurance or any other product, nor to enact a penalty or tax against those who do not comply with their over-reach.
In this summation of the enumerated powers of the federal government as indicated by the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the united States of America, along with the powers retained by the people and the States, Publius Huldah succinctly itemizes those powers in the Constitution authorized to the federal government through it’s three branches. What is contained in the Constitution is irrefutable. Nowhere does the Constitution enumerate authorization over health care or health care insurance to the Congress or federal government.
So, why do these “talking heads” and “silicone Barbies” talk around the issue instead of discussing the entire unconstitutionality of Obamacare? They either do not know what is in the Constitution and are too lazy to bother finding out. Or, they know what is in the Constitution and refuse to bring it up in order to “entertain” their viewership with “dazzling” commentary, controlled opposing arguments on actions of Congress arising from this piece of legislation, and continue to promote Republican versus Democrat conflict when the true issue is usurpation by the entire federal government, which is a creature of the people.
No where does anyone mention the purpose of government is to secure the God-given individual rights of the people, not to take care of the people or support political party policies, nor change the definitions of words and phrases to enact usurpation or serve itself or those serving in it.
Instead of providing the information contained in The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution showing the legislation is unconstitutional, these “news” personalities that function more like pop culture talk show hosts bring up agendas, rhetoric and the “replacement” of Obamacare touted by Republicans under the ruse Obamacare cannot be repealed without a replacement. In a nutshell, it is promotion of a lie, a deception perpetrated against American citizens, and the herding of people like cattle into buying the idea that the federal government “rules” according to its own party partisan politics instead of being limited by the Constitution. Just as with both parties and Hussein Soetoro, the news media is committing a crime by supporting the lies coming out of the mouths of the “Beltway Bandits.”
These “rock star” news show hosts would rather “entertain” than provide the people with information valuable to their survival. Many American citizens have no idea what is in the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence due to their own laziness in failing to read and understand the founding documents of the united States. News personalities have the perfect opportunity to help educate the public by providing this information, provided they themselves understand it. But, it does not occur. Neither do politicians or those professing to be “defenders and upholders” of the Constitution relay to the public why something is unconstitutional, where it comes from, and why government is prohibited from exercising powers outside those authorized to it by the people.
On the same line of thinking, not one individual, politician nor news “talking head” or “silicone Barbie” mentions the power of the States to engage in nullification — a remedy to government over-reach — or the power of the House of Representatives to enact the power of the purse to withhold or deny funding of unconstitutional legislation and presidential decrees outside of presidential authority. It’s not considered “good” programming. Moreover, the six mega-corporations who control 99% of the news media in this nation would not allow it for reasons ranging from support for increasing government control, receiving payments from the political parties to “deceive” the public, or ratings are better when continued controversy and chaos reigns.
No news agency discusses the power of civil disobedience when it is appropriate against unconstitutional, unlawful legislation. However, these promoters of sensationalism never fail to highlight perpetrators of crimes, such as rioting, looting and vandalism, as “heroic” fighters against a contrived and perceived injustice. To top the cake, these snake oil peddlers will not call out members of both chambers or Obama on their lying, deception, power-grabbing or acts of treason. Yet, they never fail to target constitution supporting individuals as some purveyors of violence, anarchy, and insurrection.
With all that has been divulged, does the issue of these news agencies holding some politicians in “awe” or as untouchable while targeting others for “destruction” need clarification? There should be no need to discuss these propaganda promoters’ actions of “falling all over themselves” to cuddle up to crooks, refrain from holding accountable those “pretending” to support the Constitution, or working tirelessly to discredit and “knock down” anyone daring to expose truth.
As long as the majority of the public continues to buy into their deception, this portion of the public will never gain what is needed to oppose tyranny. This lazy public will walk in whatever direction it is led instead of trying to garner information for itself. For those who provide this information, it is almost akin to beating one’s head against a brick wall; but, the information is continuing to be presented. The lazy public needs to get off its duff and quit making excuses as time is growing short.
If there is anything that has been overlooked or left out, hopefully Ms. Publius will pop in and provide additional information.
